My husband, our son, and I loved staying here! We stayed for a whole week, so we got to enjoy the water park when it wasn't packed full of people. I loved having a kitchen in our suite; we saved SO MUCH money because of it. They also offer free laundry, a fitness center, and they have a coffee machine in the lobby that serves cappuccinos, lattes, americanos, etc from 8-10am. We were here in the winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor water park and theme park (which looks amazing!) I do have a few words of advice, however. If you think the rooms seem a little outdated, that's because they are. Bluegreen knows that, though. All of the rooms will be renovated before June of 2019. The kiddie area in the indoor water park needs work, in my opinion. I had to buy my son water shoes, because the floor of it is very rough and uncomfortable to walk on. Also, the water in the kid's section was always literally always cold...that makes no sense. It was always the coldest section out of all of them. Their water should be the warmest! They have lockers to lock your stuff in in the water park, but it is $10 for all day access. If you're like me, you only used the water park once a day, and $10 is too much. I don't see why we should have to pay that. I just didn't take anything important down to the pool with me. The indoor theme park is fun for older kids, I'm sure. But it had literally nothing for us and our 1 year old. There were arcade games , but they all cost money. They also offered "free" unlimited soda and food, but you had to pay to get it. By definition, that's not free. I have paid a lot of money to be a member of Bluegreen Vacations. The least they could do is give me free soda. Overall, it was a lot of fun and we will be sure to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor stuff. We probably will wait to come back after Bluegreen finishes renovating the rooms.

The hotel and resort is pretty nice, but when they mention "complimentary gift basket" I would expect something more than a coffee tray with two bags of coffee and a few packets of creamer. Also, I know this is not really Odyssey related, but the BlueGreen Resorts "points" thing they claim is not a timeshare IS in fact a timeshare anf it is also a scam. They make it sound like all your vacations will be free but in reality, each point costs roughly $3.50 and each night you spend at a hotel could cost between 100 to 300 points on a slow day which brings your dollar total to hundreds of dollars for a measly night at a hotel. Do yourself a favor and buy your night at a hotel with real money directly from you. No hoops or scams.
